Christmas, Part 2

Sam's big gift was a Rody. A local toy store sells these. It's an inflatable horse made out of thick rubber, similar to an exercise ball. Supposedly it can hold 400 lbs. Hopefully we'll never find out!

Moose slippers - awesome.

I found Eva a soft baby doll from the same local toy store. Michele liked it so much that we bought a similar one for her niece. The doll is called a Sweet Pea because it slips into a pea pod. It reminds us of Grandma G - she used to tell us that we were "two peas in a pod".

Wandering through Target, we found this 12' diameter parachute on clearance. It took us back to elementary school memories of playing with a parachute in gym class. Sam loves it! We're betting it'll be fun to play with for years to come.

During December, Michele made a list of all the Christmas traditions she'd like to start with our new little family. One of them was baking a birthday cake for Jesus. So Christmas Day evening, we blew out one candle and enjoyed some delicious cake.

I love all the pictures!

And, I totally remember parachute day in Elementary School. It was the best day of the week! We have parachutes at the Head Start centers and I recently got to partake. It was so fun. I felt like I was 6 years old again!

We had a parachute at my elementay school too! I remember we would lift it high and then get under it. Then sit down until the top slowly deflated. So much fun!

Sweet pictures of your sweet family!
